SECTION VIII Pailure to furnish such at'tidavl t to the treasurer wi thin thirty days after sale shall -be a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, the seller shall be fined not less than ten nor more than t1 fty dollars. I SECTION IX Any person knowingly swearing talsely to any statement of any material matter in such atfidavit shall, upon conviction thereof, in addition to any penalty imposed by the laws of the State of Washington, be f1ned not less than one hundred nor more than tive hundred dollars. SBCTION X I' The tax imposed hereunder shall become ci1e and payable immediately at the time of sale and, if not 80 paid within thirty days thereafter, shall bear interest and penalty at the rate of one per cent per month from date of sale wnich interest and penalty shal be a dded to the tax and likewise bear interest and penai ty thereafter. SECTION XI SECT ION XIII I The proceeds of the tax imposed hereunder shall be credited to the county school fund mon~hly tor distribution to the school districts entitled thereto, PROVIDED: that one per cent of the proceeds of this tax shall be cred! ted to the County Current Expense Fund, out of wnich all cost and expense of administering this ordinance, including cost of printing stamps and forms of affidavit and receipts and other forms which may be nedessary, shall be paid. SECTION XII This ordinance is deemed severable and any declaration by any court that any section: or sections, or portions thereof, are invalid, shall have no effect on the remainder of this ordinance. This ordinance is necessary for the immediate support of county government and its existing public institutions and shall take effect May 1, 1962, and shall remain in effe*t , until and including May 1, 1963.
