The Board members ~nstructed W. J. Daly, Prosecuting Attorner to draw an emergency
Resolution designating '6,000.00 for painting the Courthouse and '1,000.00 for the North
Beach Park devolopment.
A motion was made by George Huntingford that the County have a Planning Commission.
This metion died for the want of a second to tne motion.
A petition was received from several property owners of Port Ludlow Bay area
f)rotesting the proposed rock quarry to be located in Port Ludlow Bay.
For the purpose of improving certain roads in the northeastern portion of Jefferson
County by oiling, Resolution No. C-503 was signed as follows:

The county road purpose herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity
and the County Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed
thereon as by law provi ded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this purpose be performed by day labor in accordance with the
Standard Road and Bridge Specifications of the State of 1fashington as adopted by this Board.
