A noti ce was recei ved from the Department of Natural Resources that the County's share of money rece! ved for Ollie Stamper brush lease 1/55795 would be $40.00. Mr. Glenn Abraham appeared and presented a petition signed by Maurice R. Bradley, LaVern E. Bradley" Al,fred 1f. Michelson and Floy Ann Michelson for vacation of portion of "A" St. between the southerly boundat'1 of the County Road on the North and Northerly , boundary of 3rd St. on the South, lying in the plat of Scuth Port Townsend. Monday, Oct. ~; 1, 1962 at 10:30 A. M., was fixed as the date for hearing the petition on the motion of ! Lyall Arey, seconded by George Huntingford. ' ;' Mr. V. J. Daly appeared with Mr. F. L. Ziel and Mr. Gerald Hunt representing Crown " Zellerbach Corporation, and filed a peti tion for the vacation of J. 6. Clinger's plat to ': the City of Port Townsend, and all lots, blocks, streets and alleys in the plat. ,: Upon motion of Lyall Arey, seconded by George Huntingtord, Monday, October 1, 1962 Ii at 10:00 A. Friday, OCTOBER 5, 1962 at 10:00 o'clock A. M., was fixed for date of hearing. A letter was received from Harlan T. Paddock and Fred J. Paddock in appreciation of a; road built between their property and Reniers at Nordland. ,I This being the time fixed for hearing on emergency Resolution No. C-508, and due notipe having been given by publication in the Port Townsend Leader, and no objections having :i been received, the members granted the sum of, $6,000.00 for preservation and repair of the Courthouse, and $1,000.00 for construction of rest rooms at North Beach Park, and Resolut~on No. C-5l2 was signed as follows: RESOLUTION NO. 0-512 This matter came on to be heard on 'l'uesday, the 4'fih day of September, 1962, at the hour of ten o'clock A. M., pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. C-508, adopted August 10th, 1962, and it appearing to the Board that notice of the ti~e and place of hearing has been given for the time and in the manner provided by law, and no taxpayer having appeared to be heard either for or against the expenditure of money for the alleged emergencies, now therefore, said Board does hereby find and determine that at the time 0!1 the a doption of the ofn cial budget for the Currenti Expense Fund for the fiscal year 1962.~ the needs a nd essentials of the County could not reasonably have been foreseen for the ': expenditure of money as hereinafter set forth, now therefor . BE IT RESOLVED and there is hereby appropriated for expenditure during the year 196~ the following: Item 1. For the preservation and repair of the sum of $6,000.00. Item 2. For the construction of rest rooms Park, the sum of $1,000.00; AND the County Audi tor be and she ia hereby author:1:1..ed and empowered to issue emergency warrants upon tho Current Expense Fund of said county in amounts not exceeding the gross of this appropriation upon the presentation of properly approved vouchers, and be it further RESOLVED that no oxpenditure shall be nade or liability incurred pursuant to the provisions of this resol tuion and order until a period five days, GKolusive of the day o~ entry hereof, shall have elapsed. ADOPTED this 4th day of September, 1962.
