Whereas, under the terms of Public Law 87-65$, apprG'red September 14, 1962, the United States of America has authorized the making of grants GO aid in financing construction of specific public works projects, provided the proposed or planned total expenditure of the public body for its capital improvement projects is increased by an amount approximately equal to the non-Federal funds required to complete such public works projects: Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved By the board of County Commissioners 1. That as of the date of filing of an application by Jefferson County, State of Wash. (hereafter called Applicant) with the Housing and Home Finance Agency', United States Government, for a grant t,o aid in financing the construction of Snow Creek BridJ1:e on ~est Uncas Rd. the Applicant had a capital improvements plan or capital improvement budget for the fiscal year or years during l'tlich construction of the proposed project is expected to occur; and that the total expenditure for capital improvement in said plan or budget was $173,996.66 for the fiscal year ending 12-31-62, and $159,545.61 for the fiscal year ending 12-31-62. 2. That, in the event that said Federal grant is approved by the United States of America said capital improvements plan or capital budget will be (is hereby) increased br $12,500.bo for the fiscal year ending 12-31-62 and $ ~or the fi scal year ending 2-31-63 for a total increase of $12,500.00 in the proposed or planned total expenditure for capital improvement projects (exclusive of Federal funds). . 3. That said increase in the proposed or planned total expenditure for capital improvement projects is approximat;ely equal to the non-Federal funds required to comple'ce the publi c works project for which the application is to be submitted. This resolution is adopted pursuant to'the authority provided by R.C.W. 36.4-.140. DATED this 5th day of Nov., 1962. WHEREAS, under the tenns of said Public Law 345, as amended, the United States of America. has au thorized the making of grants to public bodies to aid in financing the construction of specific projects: Now Therefore, Be it RESOLVED By the Board of County Commissioners 1. That Edwin A. Becker, County Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to execute and file an application on behalf of Jefferson County, State of Washington with the Housing and Home Finance Agency, United States Government, for a grant to aid in financing the construction of Snow Creek Bridge on 'West Uncas Road. ' 2. That Edwin A. Becker County Engineer be and he is hereby authorized and d1.rected to furnish such information as the Housing and Home Finance Agency may reasonably request in connection with the application which is herein authorized to be filed.
