The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session with all members present. Mrs. Lee C. Dan' and Mr. Arthur Einarson appeared and requested funds to be placed in the 1964 Budget for the .county Historical Library. " A letter from the Jefferson County Historical Society requested $1 060.00 in the 1964 Budget for the Jefferson County Museum. ' , A contract was signed for the work on the Chima cum-Hadlock Road, CRP 244 \'lith J. D. Shotwell Company. " ' Minutes of the last regular meetiug were read and approved as read. Renewals for Liquor Licenses were approved as follows: Holland Fred Barrett, dba Hbdo-Drona Rosort, Star Rt. 2, P. T. E license. John Francis Dowd, dba Dowd's Groceries, Box 34, Port Ludlow"EF. Chester Isaac Northup, et ux, dba Discovery Bay Tavern, Star Rt. 2, Lots 3 & 4, Port Townsend, BEF Gladys Patricia DeVere dba Nordland Trading Co., Nordland, E. Letters were recei ved from the Dept. of Natural Resources that the County's share of money received for rental due on grazing Lease No. 54629 \~ll be $39.98, and for Geronimo Lumber Co., for removal of timber under contract No" 28229, $1,000.00. Bills were examined and approved as follows: Current Expense Fund $14,994.64 County Roads 53,029.44 J. C. Fire Dist #1, 73.32 J. C. Fire Dist. #2, 131.57 Tuberculosis Hospital. 263.50 Supt's.Spec. Servo Fund ~O.20 Soldiers' & Sailors' Fund 500.00 Law Library Fund 39.00 I I . Commissi.onfl:t' Walter KeJly W8,S unable to attend, due to other County business. The cash was counted in the Treasurer's office and the amount of $21559.58 was found to be correct. The Treasuer's report was ,signed showing securities-of tl,251,500, held by the bank. Several county residents appeared before the Board and discussed matters pertaining to roads, etc., in their localities. \, I Recess at 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 15, 1963. The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session with all members present. Howard Riddell, Jr., appeared and presen~JCape George Village Plat. The msmbers of the Board fixed August 9th for hearing on the Plat. Mr. Hugh Goldsmith appeared with plats - Olympic Canal Addition No.3 and Olympic Canal Addition No.4. After due consideration, MI'. Walter Kelly made a motion, sel~onded by George Huntingford, that Olympic Canal Addition No. 3 Plat be accepted. Motion carried. A motion was made by Walter Kelly, seconded by George Huntingford that Olympic Canal Addition No.4 be accepted when the following conditions have been complied with - that the Plat be fully checked by the County Engineer, posting of a bond in amount of $5,000.00 for five years for maintenance of the road; pl'oof of deed from Irwin Kelly for the proper'ty.
