signed for the distribution of Federal Forest Funds in amount of $399,011.56 as follows:

Washingt~n, distributing and allocating Federdl Forest
Reserve monies received by. Jefferson County in the calendar
year 1963.

. \'lHEREAS, the Jefferson County Treasur~r is in receipt a f the sum of
$399,011.56 from the State Auditor of t.he State of ,Washington I representing this
county's distributive Share of Federal Forest Reser~e revenues apportioned by the U. S.
Department of Agriculture during the calendar year 1962, and pursuant tattle statute of.
the State of Washington in such cases made and provided, it is now the duty of this
Board of County Comndssioners to make proper disposition thereof, and,
WHEREAS, this Board 0 f. County Commis sioners has. gi v;en careful consideration to the
needs of the county road sy.stem, and to the needs of the several school districts of
Jefferson County and their necessary administrative requirements, now therefore,
.. BE IT RESOL-VED, and this Board of County Commissione.rs does herebv order, allocate,
distribute and cpportion said sum of $399,011.56 as follows: .
(a) to the COUNTY ROAD FUND for the maintenance. and con'struction of county roads
during the year -1964, the -sum of $199,505.78; .
(b) To the COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS the sum of $199,505.78 to be distributed as
fo11.ows: '.
To School District No. 20 (Queets-Clearwater) the Sum of $5,000.00 for disbursement
in such manner as the Dir...ectors of that school may.direct;
- To -School District No. 46 (Brinnon) the sum of $5,000.do for disbursement in such
manner as the Directors of that school may direct;
. 'ro School District No. 48 (Quilcene) the sum of $1,000.00 for disbursement in such
manner as the Directors of that school may direct;
To School Districts of the County, the sum of $188,505.78 to be apportioned accord-:'
ing to attendance in said Districts by the County Superintendent of Schools according
to law, as follows: School District No. 20 (Queets-C1earwater) the sum of $3!756.17;
School District No. 46 (Brinnon) the sum of $3l827.98; School District No. 4~ (Quilcene),
the sum of $21,191.29i School District No. ~9 Chimacum) the sum of $39,058.20; School
I District No. ~ (Port '1'ownsend), the sum of $11 ,534.90; and School District No. 402
(Quillayute) the sum of $4,137.24.

The Preliminary Budgets having boen duly filed with the Board of County Commisaioner'o
on or before September 6, 1963, and with the County Auditor on or before the second Mond~y
:l.n August, 1963, in accordance with the provisions of the law, and due notice having bee!)
publiahed in the Port Townsend Leader that on the first Monday in October, 1963 the Board
of County Commissioners would meet for the pUf1)oae above stated, and after hearIng with ~,
the various organizations representing taxpayers, and having heard all matters in connao~ion
