C-587 A RESOLUTION VACATING THAT PORTION OF OAK ROAD ABUTTING UPON AND LYING SOUTHERLY OF LOTS 30 and 31 IN THE PLAT OF HILLERS WATERFRONT TRACTS The petition of Harlan Wolff and Lima E. Wolff, his wife, and Anthony E. Breen, having been filed with the Board of County Commissioners on March 6, 1964 said Commissioners having thereupon set 10:00 A. M. on April 20, 1964 as the time for hearing of said petition; notice of said hearing having been gLven by posting am publication in the fbrm an~ manner required by law, sMd hearing having been duly held and no objections being heard to said petition, which requested vacation of a certain County Road harei nafter descri bed, it is BY THE BOARD OF CaJNTY OOMMISSIONERS FOR JEFFERSON OOUNTY WASHINGTON, IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, RESOLVED: ' Section 1. That portion of County Road or street described as: That portion of Oak Road abutting upon and lying Sou ther1y of Lot s 30 and 31 in the Plat of Hiller's Waterfront Tracts, as shown in Volume 3 of Plats, page 31, records of Jefferso n County, Washington, I be and it is hereby vacated and thereby removed from the JeffersonCounty road and highway system. C-5M IN THE MATTER OF BANK PROTECTION ALONG ) RESOLUTION TO THE HOH RIVER ROAD IN JEFFERSON COUNTY, ) ASSUME OBLIGATICNS \'lASHINGTON. ) OF LOCAL OOOPERATION. B ., WHEREAS, The United States has made available funds for a project for protection of Hoh :i . River Road in Jefferson County, 'Ilashington, substantially as shown on Drawing No. #-45-1-'6, dated December 1663 attached hereto am made a part hereof; and :: i' WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the 1946 Flood Control Act as amended :1 , and supplemented, and pertinent administrative determination s such funds cannot be used " until a responsi b1e local agency has given assurances satisfactory to the Secretary of the Army that it w1.11: a. Provide without cost to the United States all lands, easements, and right-of-way necessary for construction of the project; b. Hold and save tho United States free from damages due to the construction; c. Maintain and operate the works after completion in accordance with regulations prescribed by the Secretary of the Army; d. Furnish royalty free quarr1.es and borrow areas required for con atruction; e. Contribute in cash or equivalent construction work all project costs beyond t..m Federal limitation of $50,000, sum oontrJ.bution being preaontly estimated at $3,600.
