In the matter of the formation of Rocky Point Water D:!.8trl tJt No.2; rn!!'8uant to a
hearing on April 6, 1964, the property of Charles McNeal was excluded from the petition
and a special election was set for May 26, 1961+. Resolution No. C-589 was signed as
follows:

RESOLUTION NO. C-589
Whereas, a public hearing was had on the 6th day of April, 1964, pursuant to notice
given by publication, regarding the fbrmation of a water district, and the Commissioners
having found that said water district w:>u1d be oondusive to the public health, welfare and
convenience and of special benefit to the land included within said boundariesi and there
being no objection to the formation of said district, after exclusion of McNea property,
NOW, 'ffiEREFORE, be it resolved that a spe cial ele ction shall be had on the 26th day
of May, 1964, at \'b.id1 time all qualified voters residing within the boundaries of said
dlistrict shall cast their ballots for the election of three commissioners and as to whether
or not said di strict shall be fonned.
Approved this 6th day of April, 1964.

The members of the Board proceeded to the Assessor's office to attend the meeting
of the Board of Equalization.
For the purpose of insurance on County property, a motion was made by Commissioner
George Huntingford, seconded by Walter A. Kelly, that an inventory be presented to the
Board of all County property with date of purchase and cost of replacement given if
available.
In connection with a minute entry of Apri16, 1964, setting Friday as official legal
holiday .,men such holidays fall on Saturday, Resolution No. 0-590 was signed as follows:

BE IT RESOLVED by th e Board of County Conun1s sione rs fo r Jefferson County, State of
i'iashington, that whenever any of the Legal Holidays as defined by RC\Il' 1.16.050, other
, than Sunday, falls upon a Saturday, the Jefferson County Courthouse shall close for
public business on the preceding Friday, PROVIDED HOWEVER that this Resolution shall not
, affect the office of the County Sheriff or the County Clerk on judicial days.
