'J.'he Honorable Board of Jefferson Cou:nty Commissioners met- in regular seSSion with
all members pres'~nt.
A pormit was requested from Bell Telephone Company to place underground cable along
the North side of the 4 Corners Road .from S.S.H #9 easterly approximately 1200 feet, alSo
t..o push H" iron pipe under the road at three locations. Upon motion moWe by George
Huntingford, seconded by Walter A. Kelly, the permit was granted. ..
Easements from Rayonier, Inc., to Je'.ffers en County were received as follOWS;
Quinau1t River Road througO the S~NE~, Sec. 36 T. 24 N., R 9 W., and relocation
of Upper Hoh County Road Sec. 25 T. 27 N.-, R 11 West. Upon motion of Walter KeJJ.y,
seconded by George Huntingford, the County will pay $300.00 for these easements and a
Quit Claim deed will be issued by Rayonie'r, Inc.

to Robert Blaine Noble and ~~tha Louise Noble, d/b/a Irondale Grocery, Star Route 1,
Port Townsend, Wash.
The members of the Board proceeded to the Treasurer's office and counted cash.
The amount of $946.18 was fbund CX)I'ract for cash on hand. The Treasuer's report Wus
signed by the Board members.
A call for bids was made for February 1, 1965 at 11: 00 A. M., for two dump t:tUcks
fbr the County Road Department, to be in accord with specifications.
The Board members proceeded to inspe ct snow condi t ions on the County road wi. th
the County Engineer.

The Honorable Board of Jefferso n County Commissioners met and reorguni zed the Board
for the new term. Commissioners Lyall Aray and George Huntingford 'were sworn :I.n by
Auditor Helen J. Eads, having been elected November ), 1964 for four year terms beginning
thil3 date. .
Upon motion made byIfall Arey, seconded by George Huntingford, Commissioner Walter
A. Kelly was named Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners. Bonds in amount of
$7500.00 each woy'a filed and approved.
No business appearing the members recessed to meet. in reeular seosion Janua.ry 18,
1965.
