The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session wi th
all members present.
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as read.
Mr., Eugene Forest appuared and filed a petition for Mr. Joseph Daniels for vacation
, of a por.tion of Prospect Street, Mats Mats Beach Plat. Upon motion of George Huntingford,
seconded byI;rall Arey, the Board fixed the time of 11:00 A. M., August 2, 1965 for hearing
on the s,wne. One hundred dollars was submitted to guarantee costs.
" A notice was received from the State Liquor Control Board notifyins the Board that
the application for renewal of Wilbert ManVille Gainer and Bonnie Ruth Gainer d/b/a
Gainer's' Grocery Box 78, Port_ Ludlow for E license approved and Class F Dropped.
Lid~nse ~p'iication approved for Holland Fred Barrett, d/b/a Rhodo-Drona Resort, Star
route 2, Port iownsend. E license.
A n,oti ce was received stating the Liquor Board has approved reissuance of Class C &;
D but di~a,pp'roved cpplication for added E license for Ray Wm. Hudson and Gladys Alice
Hudson, d/b/a Fran's Kitchen, Box 393, Gardiner, \'iash.

The Honorable Board of Jefferson Co~nty Commissioners met in regular. session with all
menbers present.
Mr. Hugh Goldsmith and Maurice Anderson appeared regardinl:; the plat of Hiddendale
Tracts Addition, near Quilcene. The plat having met \rlth the approval of the Board, a
moti on was made by Lyall Arey, se con ded by George Huntip.gford to accept the plat.'

The members of the Board j)roceeded to the County Treasurer's office and counted the .'
cash, finding the sum of $752.63 correct for cash on hand. Treasurer's report was signed.!
Resoluti on No. C-618 was signed for Federal Aid on the construction of the Quilcene-:i
Center and Hadlock-Irondale Roads, as per agreement.'
RESOLUTION NO. C-618
"
WHEREAS, under and by virtue of the tenus of that certain Agreement made and entered,
into by and between th~ County of Jefferson, hereinafter designated as the "County" and I
the State of Washington, acting th rough its Department of Highways and the Director
thereof, under date of July 8, 1965, the State will act as agent for the County in the
participation of said County wl.th the Bureau of Public Roads under the provil!ions of the
Feder",l Aid Road Act of 1944, for the con struction of Federal Aid' proj ect No. S-0496{ 4)
and S-0497(2) Quilcene-Center Road and Hadlock-Irondale Road, copy of which agreement
is hereunto attached, now referred to and by such reference incorporated herein and made
a part hereof, now, therefore,

BE I'l' HEREBY RESOI.VED that said agreement be and the same is hereby ratified and Ii
approved; and !i
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that. authorization is horeby granted fur ,the reservation of an!l
amount of Oue hundred six thousand, five fbrty-one and 05/l00 -f-f- - - -Dollars {$l06,54J,i.05.
from monthly fUel tax allotments, being an amount not in excess of the money reasonably antic!
pated to accrue to the County in the Motor Vehicle Fund during the current biennium as ::
the balance of the estimated participating share and coats of the County in the above- .
mentioned projedt, fur the use of the Director of Highways to defray the costs incurred
in the performance of the aforesaid requested \\t)rk j and upon completion of the aforesaid
work, payment having been made therefor, and ,a statement having been furnished to the
County, authorization is made to release to the County any unexpended balance of the
amount rl3served by this resolution. 'l'he amount of Federal Aid partic'ipating funds will
be credi ted to the County when r ecei ved from the Bureau of Publi c Roads.
The above funds wl.ll be wLthheld as follows:
