The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Conunissioners met in regular session with
all members present.
Mr. Art \'lard and Hr. Pete Buchet appeared with the Plut of Brinnon\'lOld. The
members of the' Board a,ccepted the Plat and signed the same.
Notices were received from the Department of Natural Resources stating the County's
share of money receivable from Seaboard Lumber Company for sale of timber on Timber
Bill of Sale 29198 in Twp. 27N. R 2 W., will be $10,571.00 and from Monroe N. Dennis
under application No. 30397, Twp. 27 N., R 1 W., $lO.OO.
Several county residents appeured before the Board Oil various matters concerning
property und road~j, etc.

The Honorable Board met in regular session with all members present.:
Mrs. Ida Hinton and flIr. Bob Deskins appe ared rel ati ve to the formu tion of a f'l re Ii
district in tho Port Ludlow precinct. The wport of the County Auditor on the sufficienct
of the signatures on the petition was filed sho...1ing 114 valid signatures, which is more Ii
than tho amount required. '!'he Board members fixed October 18th at 11:00 A. r~., for the i:
date of he;;.rine; on the petition.
Mr. Eugene Forest appeared in the matter of the vacation of the old County Road in
Sees. l, 121 and 13, T. 29N., Range 2 West W. M~, lyin.g between the right of wuy of
Chicago, M1J.\olllukno I.lrul St. Paul R. Co., and P. .;>. I!. #9, and upon the Engineer's report
it \'laS 1bund tlH'3 description ia in error. The petition was rejected and Mr. Forest '
requeated tho matter be continued to October 18, 1965, at 11:00 A. M., for t.he heuring 08
u new petition ~1ich will be filed. The Board agreed to this, upon motion made by
GeDrge Huntingford, seconded by Lyall Arey.
A cull for bids WUG mude for 11:00 A. M., October $, 1965, for improvement of 0.50
mil. of Maple Creok Road, North Bridge approach, by clearinG, grubbing, erading and
other work.
