George Huntingford made a motion to accept the petition, seconded by Lyall Arey. Decemb'er
8, 1965 was set for the date of the special election and the names of Robert Deskins, Ii
Myron Lopeman and Dennis Hannan were submitted as the first candidates to be ,balloted uppn.

A RESOLL~ION DESIGNATING JEFFERSON COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT NO.3, FIXING THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF, AND PROVIDING
FOR AN ELECTION THEREIN 'IO DETERMINE ~'lHETHER THE DISTRICT
SHALL BE ORGANIZED, AND TO ELECT FIRST COMMISSIONERS, AND
NAMING THREE RESIDENT ELECTORS AS CANDIDATES FOR ELECTION
AS THE FInST COMMISSIONERS.

28 North, Range 1 East, of the Willamette Meridian; Sections 28,

Wihamette Meridian; and the East ~ of Sections 1 and 12, and the
Northeast ~ of Section l3 in Township 28 North, Range 1. itlest,
Willamette Meridian, all lying and being in said Jefferson County.
