Mr. Duana Clocks!n appeared before the Board re1ati ve to the Planning Commission

a moUon that an emere;encr Resolution be draWl in .the amount of $1500.00 to aid the Ii
Planning CO_DlSion. Mot on seconded by George HuntiI'€ford. After investigatint the 11
propOloa plan. I motion was made by Lyall Arey, seconded by Geor~e Huntine;ford t,O allow ii
the Planning COWSe101'l to hire the .firm of M. G. Poole and Associates to proceed with :i
plans for comprohonsi ve planning, including recreation faciIi tie s. Ii
Minutes ot the last regular meeting were read and approved as read. Ii

progr"m. After explanation of the proposed plans in regard to the Head-St,art Program I:

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is its intention
to improve 0.25 miles of Washington Street in Quilcene by Clearing, grubbing, grading,
draining and surfacing
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED '!HAT for the foregoing proper county road purpose there is hereb}~i

the Standard Road and Brldge Specifications of the State of Washington as adopted by
th is Board.

This being the time 13 et fur hearing on the Lazy C Ranch Plat, Mr. John G. Swli't
appeared and thore being no obje ct:l.ons entered, q'eorge Huntingford ande a motion,
seconded by Lyall Arey that approval be given for the \\Ork to proceed on the Plat.
A conditional. approved of tho Preliminary Plat was g1.ven, subject to the proviaiolls
of the Engineer, by motion made by Lyall Arey, seconded oy George Huntingford.
Mr. Noil. Pendley representing the Teamsters' Union, appeared and checked the
contract for road employees wl.th the Board members. Mr. Pendley will meet wi'th thl3l

Beach area (Woodman Precinc't) to annex their area to the Chimacum Fire Dietr1 ct. A
