Monday, April 4, 1966.
The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commisaloners met in ragular session with
all members present.
A group of residents of the Adelma Beach area appeared relative to closing ths
Adelma Beach road to through traffi c.
A motion was made by Lyall Arey, seconded by George Huntingtor.d, that a temporary
closurs be made on that road pending the necessary legal requiremant8 for a permanent
closur e.
A notice was received from the Washington State Liquor Control Board staUng the
liquor l1qense issued to Wallace Ulysses Norton, d/b/a Norton's Gardinor Store, has been
transferred to Florenc e B. Norton as of March 25th.
A notice was received from the Department of Natural Resources atating that the
County's sliare of money received from Donald J. Adams for sale of: brush on NEl.,SW~,NWt,
SE., Sec. 26, '1'. 27N R 1 W. will be lJ.6O.oo., . ' " .
. A copy of' the Court Decree dated, April 4, 1966, authorizing a land transf"r 'rlith th~
Quilcene Qr~nge was filed by the Prosecuting Attorney. This gives the Board authority to.
deed tho portion of County Property in the exchange to the Quilcena Grange.
Mr. Cal McCune appeared with Robert L. Ammeter and Edward L. Row, relative to the
petition ~or vacation of County road in Lots 16,17,18,19,20, 21, and 22 Block 35 of
Chalmer's Addition No.2 to Irondale. Engineer Becker's report and recommendations were
filed. . '
After due considoration of the propert1/ and future needs for traffic handling, a
motion was made by Lyall Arey, seconded by George Huntingford, denying the petition. A
now P&titiOl'l will be filed by the property holders giving a new description of land
requested to be vacated. and upon moti on made by Lyall Arey, seconded by George Hunting--
ford, Monday, May 2, 19b6 will be set fbr he aring on the amended petition at 11:00 A. 1>1.

Mr,i. James A. Rider of Goldsmith Associates, appeared with the Plat of Olympic Canal,
Addition No. 11. It having met all requirements of the Board, and the Engineer, was ..
accep ted by the Board.
An application for franJlae was received from Bonneville Power Administration for
construction of the Kitsap~Fairmount No. 1 line for $ crossing over County roads. The
hearing was set for May 6th, at 11 :00 A. M.
An application was approved from sale of County property, Lots 9 &,10, Block 79,
Tibbals Lake Park. Mrs. Roy Lindsey offered $20.00.
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as read.

Block 35 of Chalmers No.2 Addition to Irondalo. May 2, 1966 at ll:OO A. M'l was set
for I}earing on the matter. The petition was sigmd by Robert L. Anmete,", Elizabeth H.
Ammeter, Edward L. Rowand Verla F. Row.
ThO member's of th8 Board proceeded to tho Tre9.surer'a office and counted th0 CIilElq,
finding the amount of $10527.10 as cash on hand. The T~easurer's report was mgl'led by
tha BoaJ,"d mombers ahowlng the cash on March 31, as $8,263.61.
