THIS MATTER hav:l.ng oome on regularly for hearing before the Board of County
Commissioners for Jefferson County, Washington, upon the Petition of Robert; L. Ammeter,
Elizabeth H. Ammeter, Edward L. Rowand Verla F. Row, ft led April $, 1966, and also .:
upon the resolution of intent to vacate made April 4, 1966, for the v:acation of one certain
portion of the county road system, to-wit: :i

All county roads within and/or adjoining Block 35 of Chalmer's No.2::
Addition to Irondale, ,Jefferson County, Washington, as recorded in
Volume 3, page 9, of Plats, records of Jefferson County, lying wIthin
the following described lines: South of the South right of way line
of the alley in Block 35 as extended to the East righ t of way lino
of Holman Boulevard; North of a line fifty feet North of the c,enter ,
line of County Road No.4; East of a line ,eigh ty feet East of' the West
right of way line of Holman Boulevaro; and West of the East line of
Lot 23 of said Block;
IT APPEARING that due and proper notice of said hearing has been given, that the
county has no outstanding expenses inOlrred in this matt,er, and evidence having been
produced and the County Engineer's report given, now therefore:
FIRST: The said Board of County Commissioners finds as a maUllx' of fact:
a. That the above descri bed portion of the oounty road system is useless
as a prt of that system, and :
b. That the public wUl be benefit13d by the vacati on of the above dOl'lcri bed
portion of the county road system in that thereby the most westerly tw:> lots with the "
vacated area will t.hen offer' a phys1 cd dimension sufficient to warrant. substantial ,
commercial investment and development, resulting in increased larld use and tax revenue;!
