The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Co3m1ssioners met in regular session ~th
all members present.
MinutGS of the last regular meeting were read and approved as road.
The County Board of Education recanmended the appointment of l'lI's. Jeannette W~ed
for the position of School Superintendent and the Board, upon motion of Lyall Arey,
seconded by George Huntingford, appointed Mrs. Weed. She was duly sworn in and qualified.

Nwk SWt SEk Sec. 22, T. 27 North, Range 2 W. W. M. .
This was in exchange for property Mrs. Martin will deed to the County.
The following application for liquor licenses were approved by the Board:

Jimmie Cotton d/b/a Hadlock House, P.O.Box 67, Hadlock, Class H in lieu of C.D.

Notices were received from the Department of Natural Resources stating the County's
share of money received fOD brush rental lease No. 55277, Dick C. Lomsd&len will be $59.72.
Grazing lease No. 54629 - Berniece Martin $43.40.
Timber sale - application No. 29523, Littlerock Milling Co., $6,334.40.
Upon motion made by Lyall Arey, seconded by Walter Kelly, it was decided to purchaso
a cat-loader, wi.th specifications to be drawn up by the County Engineer.

The Honorabl e Board of Jefferson County Commis sioner s met in regular session wi th
all members present.
Mr. John Hieber appeared wlth the Plat of Bridgehaven, Division VI. Upon motion by
Lyall Arey, seconded by George Huntingford to accept the final plat, the motion carried
and the Plat of Bridgehaven, Divi sibn VI was accepted by the Board.
The County Engineer was given permission to sell County Equipment #21, by sealed
bids, upon motion made by Lyall Arey, seconded by George Huntingford. This vehicl~ is
a 1956 GMC dump truck, 6 cu. yds.
Applications were approved for liquor licenses by the Board as follows:
Ray William Hudson, d/b/a Fran's Kitchen, Box 393 Gardiner, OD
William Dale Clark, d/b/a Whistling Oyster, Box 52, Quilcene, BCEF

The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session with
all members present.
For the purpose of appointing the members of the Jefferson County Fair Board,
Resolution No. 0-648 was signed as follows:
RESOLUTION NO. C-648
PURSUANT to instructions from the Department of Muni cipal Corporati ons, it is the
duty of the Board of County Commis&oners to appoint the Jefferson County Fair Board,
AND,
The following persons are hereby appointed on the Jefferson County Fair Board:

Mro. Ida Hinton and Mrs. Pat Hannan appeared relative to the garbage dump ,at Port
Ludlow. The State closed the presont dump and tho residents will hwe to use the
Chimacum dump or others in their vioinity.
