The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners Met in regular sa/wi-on wi. th
all msmbers present.
Minutes of the last regular meeting ware read and approved as read.
The members of the Board proceeded to the County Treasurer's office and counted the
cash. The amount of 86.383.27 was found to be cx>rrect for caeh on hand. 'l'he Tr9Qsurarls
report was signed.
Applications for liquor licensos were approved for:
John Francis DOwn, d/b/a DOwn'S Grooeries, Box 34, Port Ludlow, EF
Holland Fred Barrett, d/b/a D1scovery Bay Lodge, R2. P. T., E
A notice was received from the DepartBmt of Natural Resources stati ng the County I fl
share of money received for App. No. 2~145 on E2 and R/W on NE~ NW; Sec. 36, T. 28 N., R.
2 W., part wi SW; Sec. 31, T. 28N, R 1 W., will be $3,244.44.
-# A letter was recei ved from the Nordland Community Club stating ih thei r opinion
Strombeck's Corner Should be cleared and leveled and the Utility pole at the intersection
of'East Marrowstone ani East Beach road should be removed.

Mr. Gordon Papritz appeared and made application for County property as follows:
Lots 3,4,5,6 Block l4 O. T. Port Townsend, offered $400.,00

This application was awroved by the Board.

A notice was received from the Washington State Liquor Control Board notifying the Board
that the liquor license ganted to Wilbert Manville Gainer, d/b/a Gainer's Grocery, Box ':
78, Port Ludlow, now deceased, has been transferred to Charles Wilbert Gainer, Adm. of
Estate of Wilbert Manville Gainer.
10:30 A.M. This being the time advertised for opening bids for the snle of County
equipment No. 21, 1956 G.M.C. Dump truck, one bid was received from Parker Logging Co.,
Aberdeen, Washington, in amount of $685.50, accompanied by check in that amount. Upon
motion of Lyall Arey, seconded by George Huntingford, the bid was accepted in the amount
of $685.50.
