In addition thereto the County agrees to reimburse said counsel for any out-of-pocket expenses such as long distance telephone tolls which they may incur in the performance of said servicesj and the County also agrees to fUrnish said counsel at their office in Seattle, Washington, with a complete certified transcript of all proceedings taken in the matter of the issuance of said bonds. In the event the propo- sition authorizint the issuance of said bonds for such purpose fails to carry, the County agrees to pay said counsel the sum of One Hundred Dollars($lOO) , which shall be compensation in full for all services rendered to the date of such election (plus any out-of-pocket expenses which may have been incurred by said counsel to said election da te) . DALY Prosecuting Attorney for Jefferson County The foregoing resolution and contract of employment is hereby approved this 29 day of Aug. 1966., ( JOSEPH H. JOHNSTON Judge of the Superior Court of the State of Washington in and for Jefferson County. At the request of persons interested, Mr. Daly then presented a resolution having to do with the creation ofa Cumulative Reserve Fund to provide for the construction of a facility in the West End of Jefferson County as an auxiliary county building for governmental and other county purposes. After considerable discussion of the subject matter, upon motion by Mr. Arey, seconded by Mr. Hunti~ord, the resolution was adopted and the $Me being numbered 0-653 is hereinafter set forth in full, to-wit: RESOLUTION NO. C-653 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County is authorized under the prOVisions of Rew 36.33.020 to establish a cumulative reserve fund for several different purposes and for specific county purposesj and, WHEREAS, in the judgment of a majority of this Board of County Commissioners, the establishment of such a fund for. the following purpose, to-wit: \ The construction, operation and maintenance of a building and/or, structure in the West End of ~efferson County suitable for all county needs, is necessary for the efficient operation of the government of Jefferson County, WASHINGTON, due to anticipated growth and development of this area of the countyj and, WHEREAS, under the provisions of RCW 36.33.030 the Board of County Comrni1Jsioners i~ authorized to include in the county's annual budget for estimates of amounts required to" meet public expenses ,for the ensuing year, and, to levy'a, tax' within 'the 'Umits authorized by law for such item, the refore, BE IT RESOLVED By the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County, Washington, that a fund to be known and designated as the "CUMULATIVE RESERVE FUND " West End" be and the sume :l,a ;: hereby establishedj than an amount equal to $10,000.00 be added to the county budget, for 'I the year 1967 and for each successive year thereafterj and that such amount be set aside. for the foregoing purpose and not~berw1se expended unless authorized as by statute permitted.
