Mr. E. K. Wes~ley appeared advising the Board of the oyster culture in Dabob Bay,
and raquesting the extension of the County Road in that vicinity, as the road is too
narrow for the increased traffic this business is bringing.. This will be taken under
advisement.

Mr. Glenn Abraham appeared w.l~ a petition from John C. Newsom requesting the
County to open roads which will adequately serve the lands of the petitioner, to-wit:
The North i of the southwest'~ in Section l2, To'~ship 29 North, Range 1 West, W. M.,
as he plans to construct considerable improvements on said lands.

checking the bids received, the bid of Del Guzzi, Inc., was ,accepted in amount of
$36,4l0.35, by motion made by Lyall Arey, seconded by Geo. Huntingford.
An ap~lication was received from Lloyd M. McGath, Cyrus W. Myers, S. G. Cartwright,
Commissioners of Jefferson County Water District No. I, for franchise on Paradise
streets. October 17th, 1966 at ll:OO A. M., was fixed for hearing on the franchi~e.
The members of the Board spent some time in considering the Preliminary Budgets for
1967.
