For the purpo.se of retaining ~reston, Thorgrimson, Horowitz, Starin and Ellis as
attorneys for Courthouse elevator bonds, if approved at the November 8th election,
Resolution No. c-660 was signed as follows:
RESOLUTION NO. 0-660
A RESOLUTION of the Board of County Commissioners of
Jefferson County, Washington, retaining counsel for
certain services in connection with the authorization,
issuance and sale of unlimited tax lG"VY genoral
obligation bonds of the County in the principal amount
of $35,000.00
WHEREAS, on August 22, 1966, this Board adopted its Resolution No. 0-652,
retaining Preston, Thorgrimson, Horowitz, Starin & EIUs, bond counsel of Seattle,
Washington, to draw all the proceedings necessary for the authorization, issua.n(~e and
sale of $35,000.00 princ~pal amount of unlimited tax levy general obligation bonds of
the County and to give their opinion as to the validity of such bonds at t,he time of
th ei r sale; and

WHEREAS, said resolution fixed the fee of said bond counsel at the sum (Jf $400.00 il
for such services and further provided that said counsel would be paid the Bum of $100.09
I only in the event the qualified electors of the Count.y failed to app:rove the issuance Oflj

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissionoro of Jefferson
County, Washington, as fbllows:
That Preston, Thorgrimson, Horowitz, Starin & Ellis, attorneys at law of S~attle,
Washington, be and they are hereby retained to perform the serv.lces above set forth and
as compensation therefore Jefferson County agrees to pay them the sum of $400.00. In
addi tion thereto the Count;y agrees to reimburse said counsel for Gny out-o.f~pocket
expenses such as long distanlJe telephone tolls which they may lnour tn thlll performance
of said servioes and also agrees to furnish said counsel at their offioe in Soattle,
WI.l.shington, wi th a complete certified tranaor:l.pt of all proceedings taken 1n the matter
o.f issuance of said bonda.
