IT ~S HEREBY RESOLVED !BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is its intention to
improve by constructing an extension of County Road No. 9 up to and crossing Thorndyke
Creek in Section 24, Township 27 North, R 1 W, W. M.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT for the foregoing proper county road purpose there is hereby
appropriated sums in the following detail:

Claim for Damage against the State of Washington and County Commissioners, Jefferson
County from Ernest McClanahan and Norma L. McClanahan for slide damage to thelr personal
property caused by a cloggedculvert on the State qighway was read and reffered to Mr.
Becker for ,investigation and report before being considered or rejected by Board.

Bill submitted by letter from Tom A. Anderson Commander of Quilcene Vni Post 3213
for janitorial services for 1966 and 1967 for $lgO.OO for each year. Mr. Kelly was
authorized to contaft them regarding janitorial fee and aak them to appear in regard to
services and acquaint them with customary voucher system.
Glenn Abraham appeared with Charles Gunstone to present a petition to close road
servicing the Charles Gunstone and Fred !,!ul'grai' pre'perties. Emgineer Becker gave a
preliminary report and hearing was set for II a.m. Monday, March 6th. Gl~nn Abraham,
attorney for Gunstone and Margraaf, will take care of postlng the property and publishing
notioe in the paper.
Letter received Arvid Grant & Associates (Engineers) regarding special engineering
planning and scheduling program they offer.
Washington State Hi~way Department forwarded a copy of Engineering Report of
Highway Neods in the State of Washington.
