gettine: better breaks that have established Regional Planning Commissions. County
Commis'sioners would retain control as they control .fubds. Mr. Poole and Ml'.' Baron
suggested as a step to acquiring and assuring Federal Funda the Port, Schools, City
and County form a Regional Planning Commission. Mr. Poole said the work his firm has
completed could be formula ted into a comprehensive plan'and forming a Regional
Commission would meet the requirements for Federal Fund~.
Phil Copps felt both City and County would recoive funds.

Ed McMinn appeared in a plea to the commissioners to ask if they could do anythin~
about people dumping rubbish on private property - specifically the property he bought
from the County (the old garbage dump). The Conunissioners will talk to Shertff ~iansen
as they felt this is an increasingly growing problem that should be met ,nth reprimand.

on the BEE MIL'!. ROAD on the new section going up past <the' Boy Scout Camp. The Conunis-
sioners will have it investigated..
