April l7, 1967 II The Honorable Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with all members:1 present. . . i' II Robert Quam appeared in regard to flood control assistance. He understood the ii county had program set up to assist individuals. Commissioners 'advised Mr. Quam that the,: county does not have halp but referred him to Kenneth Johnson, Soil Conservationist, at !I the Federal Building (Post Office). i, i! I Germain Shearer's letter was discussed, regarding persons dumping rubbish on her property. Latter was referrod to the Sheriff's Department for action. There being no objections presented, Jalter Kelly moved and Lyall Arey seconded Ii the motion that Jefferson County Road No. 30g be vacated as requested by Pope & Talbob i on March 6, 1967 and pursuant to Resolutions D-5 and D-6 of this Board, it was unaminouslt approved in the following: I RESOLUTION D-8 .. This matter came on to be heard this day pursuant to the provisions and directives contained in Resolution Nos. D-5 and D-6 of this Board of County Co~~ssioners, and it appearing that notice hereof has been given by posting and publication in manner and form as provided by law, and the Board having considered the report of the County Road Engineer, and other evidence offered in connection herewith, finds that its declaration of intention as contained in said reso~ution No. D-5 should be affirmed, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is ORDERED htat Jefferson County Road No. 308 be, and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned as -a. p.art of the Jefferson County Road Systemo ADOPTBD this 17th day of April, 1967. It was so done. Agreement between County and Game Department was reviewed. Mr. Kelly moved and Mr. Arey Seconded the motion to accept co-operative agreement ~~th the Game Department. The Agreement was unanimously signed. . Preliminary plat for Cape George Village, Division No.6 was presented for the Commissioners and Engineer.'s review. Road vacation WaS denied. I Mr. Abraham appeared with and represented Bob Harper, Bill Scheyer regarding road access to their Quilcone property by extension of Muncy Street. Muncy Street has been opened up to Mrs. Pattsner's property. Power. line has been extended along unopened portion of fJtreet since approximately.l92S. Engineer Becker felt, after examination that this was best access to property owners involved. Mr. Beckor will ihvestigate ' further. I . .
