II Commissioners called to Glenn Abraham (as City Attorney) 's attention that in the : future the city will have to request road repair within the city limits by ordinance II and county will have to prepare a resolution. A written agreement will have to be Ii drawn between the two bodies. Agreement should contain u "hold harmless" clause. It was brought to the attention of the Auditor that the CQmmissioners expense- accounts must be approved by Judge Johnston for payment. Adjourned for lunch and inspection of Carter property. Meeting was reconvened. After their personal inspection of the Carter property and the road in question, it was the unanimous decision of th3 Commissioners not to abandon the road but to rerout the ~ rerouted road back to the original road bed. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned until the 15th of May. ################## May 15, 1967 The meeting of the Honorable Board of county Commissioners was called to order by the Chairman, George Huntingford with all members present. C. ' Commissioner Arey moved we pay Bob Worthington $500.00 for right of way and $200.00 for timber on right of way for property in Quilcene. Commissioner Kelly seconded motion and it was unanimously passes. Don Churchill from Shine appeared in regard to his Shine access road. Copy of Petition to State read from Shine area regarding school bus traveling on the hazardou~ old Shine rO.$.d. State will not cpen up Stark road. Alternate would ba to have the youngsters meet bus at the ~tate highway. No youngster will have to walk more than 1,000 feet. Erwin Grishaber, Peace C~rp. trainee from Syracuse, New York asked for information on governmental processes. Commissioner inv:l.ted him to sit in on meeting Clnd ask questions. Mr. Daly,the prosecuting Attorney further enlightened and informed Mr. Grishaber on the steps, processes and procedures of county government. W~tion made by Commissioner Al1f, seconded by Kelly and unanimously passed to order Resolution be drawn on 1% Excise Tax for Schools. Shine Gri La Village preliminary plat was approved by the commissioners.' A ~uestion was askudooout developing one acre tracts on Coyle Peninsula - would they have to be approved? Answer was yes. Bids were opened fOl" the one Jilt 'l'on Pickup as specifil3d in bid call published in the l'lay 4, 1967 issue of the Port Townsend Leader.
