SECTION II
Any person knowingly swearing falsely to any statement of ani mat~rial
matter in such affidavit shall, upon convhtion thezoQot, in €Iddi't on to any
penalty imposed by the laws of the State of ~"aBhington, be fined not lees than
one hundred nor more than five hundred dollar;.
SECTION X
The tax imposed hereunder shall become dUG and fJayable immediately at the
time of BalG and, if not so paid wi thin thirty days t.'1ercafter. .ahall b3ar
interest and penalty at tho rate of one per c~nt pgr month from~date of sale,
which interest and penalty shall be added to th@ tax and likewi'Ge bear interest
and penalty thereafter.
SECTION XX
The proceeds of the tax imposed hereundGll' shall be credit.cd to the county
school fund monthly for distribution to the school districta entitlod thereto,
PROVIDED: That one per cent of tho proceeds of this tax shall De credited to
the County Current Expense Fund, out of Which all cost and exp~ns9 of administer-
ing this ordinance, including cost of printing stamps and forma of af~.dllv1 t
and receipts and other forms which may be necessary, shall be paid.
SECTION XII
This ordinance is deemed severable and any declaration by any court that
any section or sections, or portions thereof, are invalid, shall h~vo no
effect on the remaindQr of: this ordinance.
SECTION XIII
This ordinance is nocessary for the immed!atCil support of county gOV01"n-
ment and its existing public institutions and shall t~~e affoct ~~y 1, 1967,
and shall remain in effect until and including April 30, 1968.
