Winn Olympia, appeared and offered to recruise timber land in West End of County. $1,350.00 allowed. for a three month trial period. This was agreed in a motion made by Walter A. Kelly and seconded by Lyall Arey. Agreement will be presented for Commissioners signature when written. There being no further business meeting was a djourned until June 19th. . Ydnutes of the February and March meetings were read and approved. #J1#/I#II#####I### I Engineer Becker presented 'Request for deviant to regulations. governing minimum lot size' from Donner and Sharon Buchet and Mrs. Claude Buchet, as owners of Government Lots 1 and 2, Section 23, Township 26, Jefferson County, from the minimum lot size of . 9,000 square feet with water and sewage systems to 5,600 square feet. After due consid. eration, Commissioner Arey moved and Commissioner Kelly seconded motion that the deviant' be accepted as corrected - The lots in Government Lots 1 and 2, Section 23, Township 26, Jefferson County be reduced from 9,000 square feet with water and sewage systems to 6.200 square feet (5,600 sq. ft. requested)with water and sewage systems. Mr. Jerry, Caldwell from Caldwell Y~chinery Co.,Inc. appeared in regard to the Asphalt Heating Kettles awarded Caldwell Machinery Co.,Inc. at June 5, 1967 bid opening. He felt the Tube fired Kettle, as bid is not a safe kettle due to fact that tar cannot be emptied less than halfway without damger of fire. Stated pot he bid is not available now at bid price but offered to replace a better bottom fired pot at same price. Commissioners and Engineers said they would haye to have time to consider but felt if there was any change, the pot should be put out to bid again. Clarence Lammers appeared regarding permisslon to clear 60 feet - road right away acrods from his property on Cape George road. Commissioners were in agreement. Mr. Lammers will get written permission from his father for Engineer to have trees and brush cut back on his property where Hastings Avenue swings in to Cape George Road to eliminate blind corner. Engineer Becker announced that bids will be opened in Olympan on Wednesday, June 21, 1967, for Center-Dabob road to Center road by Tony Scalzo's property.
