Worthington felt the Dosewallips Basin was eliminated as ski -area due to the fact that it is within the boundry of the Olympic National Park. Irregardless it would ,; be a difficult area to develop due to the miles of road that would have to be built to make it accessable. I Trips will be taken into the area for visual survey before fall... and findings will be reported back to the Commissioners after that. The letter response from Meed~ Jackson and Magnuson in regard to ski area in Olympic Jefferson County area has been very good (refer to proposed ski area file). John Hieber appeared regarding his development by Trails End Homesite-Southpoint area. Would like Commissioners permission to put in sanitary s~stem and water system on County frontage and to add Marina. Walter Kelly moved and Lyall Arey seconded motion that general scheme be approved and details worked out with the County Engineer. It was unanimously agreed. Mr. Hieber seid his request for approval was made so he can go to the- Army Engineers with proposed Marina.
