I WHEREAS. under and by vi rtue of the terms of that cort ain Agreement made and en tereA~
I into by and between the County of Jefferson, hereinafter deSignated. as the "County", and 1 .
II the State of Washingtonl acting through its Department of Highways and the Director ther~
il of, under date of June G2, 1967, the State will act as agent for the County in the j
II participation of said County with the Bureau of Public Roads under the provisions o.f the II
;i Federal Aid Road Act of 1944, for the construction o.f Federal Aid Project No. S-0497(7) !I
II Quilcene - Center Roadl copy of which agreement is hereunto attached, now referred to i!
, and by such reference ncorporated herein ahd made a part hereof, now, therefore, ,
i
I; BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that said agreement be and the same is hereby ratified and
'i approved; and
ii BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that authorization is hereby granted for the reservation
ii of an amount of eighty-six thousand six hundred eleven and 25/100 Dollars ('86,611.25)
il from monthly fuel tax allotment~ being an amount no t in excess of th e money reasonably
i! anticipated to accrue to the County in the Motor Vehicle Fund during the current
ii biennium as the balance of the estimated participating share and costs o.f the County
Ii in the above-mentioned project, for the use of the Director o.f Highways go defray the
ji costs incurred in the performande of the aforesaid requested work; and upon completiom
!i of the afo.resaid \rork, payment having been made therefore, and a statement having been
!: furnished to the County, authorization is made to release to. the County any unexpended
:i balance of the amount reserved by this resolution. The amount of Federal Aid partici-
:; pating funds will be credited to the County when received from the Bureau.of Public
:1 Roads.
