County Sheriff, Robert Hansen, appeared before the Board in regard to improving Sheriff's facilities. What with new crime center set up as required by legislature, which mandabes 24 hour service,-he wishes to move his present mffice facilities down stairs (same floor as jail) to quarters presently used as Sheriff's living quarters. Feels he has enough in present budget for two dispatchers for remainder of year. Mr. Phegley, City Police Chief, will request from the city by emergency appropriation, one II dispatcher. Sheriff Hansen said the increased demand for 24 hour service, the County Ii Jail-facilities being used by both City and County Law enforcement, along with populatioql increase and tourism increase, make the 3 shift Law~enforcement, operation- a necessity. Ii !I Commissioners and Auditor preceeded to Treasurer's Office to count cash~on-hand and verify accounts. . Copy of letter sent Commissioners from State Liquor Control Board to Conley D. and Freda Rodgers, Hoh River Resort, disproving application for E~F locense at Hoh River location. State Department of Personnel submitted to the County Commissioners a plan employees of an Assessor who act as empiboyees"f'ar their consideration./, approval use as expressed with the mandate of the 40th Legislature in Section -I, HB 934. plan was reviewed. I Petitions were presented by Mrs. Dignum and Mrs. Butts of the Clallam-Jefforson Counties Community Action Council in rogc.rd to setting up a bi~Counties Rural Li.brary District. Said Librarian from Clallam County, Port Angolea is contacting the Clallam County Commissioners in regard to meetins with Commissioners from both counties.
