Hospitalization Law Library Soldier's & Sailors' Relief Jerry Simpson appeared in regard to Bi-County meeting at 7:30 p.m. tonight in our!, Commissioners~ Room. Also. asked if Clallam..Jefferson County Community Action Council'~ request for money was included in Jefferson County preliminary budget. Was advised tha~i it was .not due to the fact that request was not received in office until after August 22rto and the preliminary budget was approved prior to that date. George McCleary appeared in behalf of the Fair Baord requesting an advance of $5,000.00 by the Fair until their 196$ Grant is received from State. Lyall Are~ moved and Walter Kelly seconded motion to have clerk draw up Resolution to advance $5,000.00 to the County Fair until their State Grant funds are received. Jim Sofie appeared before the Commissioners in regard to the millage freeze and how it will effect the~ County and City of Port Townsend. Randall Hicks and Frank Hicks appeared in regard to Shine road and possibility of right-of-way behind the house and above the lower road. Commissioners adjourned until after lu~ch. Grays Harbor P. U. D. hearing held at 1:30 p.m. on their application for Franchis~: to construct, operate and maintain transmission and distribution lines upon, over, along and under and across the public roads and highways in Jefferson County, Washington, for I, a period of fifty years, at the following locations: 1. Streets and roads in the Queets Indian Village in Section 35, Township 24 North, Range 13 Wast, W. M. The Clearwater County Road in Sections 7, l8, 19, 29, 30 and 32 of Township 24 North, Range l2 West, W~ M. There being no objections against granting the franchise, Mr. Ar,y mdved and Mr. Kelly seconded motion to approve Franchise. It was unanimously passed. 2.
