RESOLUTION ~IO. 3.~/n 2_
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attent.1on of the
Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County by the
County Planning Commission, the City of port Townsend
Planning Commission, other planners and associated agencieS,
that certain funds should be expended by Jefferson County
for the purpose of participating 1n a program of regional
planning, including Jefferson County, and thus create
eligibility to Federal funds through the matching process,
WHEREAS, expenditures of such funds were no~ included
in the 1968 budget of sa1.d county, and
WHEREAS, i.t appears an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such funds could not reasonably have been
foreseen by the Board of County Commissioners, or others
interested, at the time of making said budget, noW there-
fore
and,
It, is hereby unanimously RESOLVED by the Board of
County comnlissionera for Jefferson County, Washlngton,
that the aforementioned facts constitute an emergency, and
that ~jha estimat.ed amount or i'unds to meet such emergency

It i8 further RESOLVED that not-ice ot a public hearing
upon such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be
held on Monday, tha 19th day of Febru6X'Y, 1968, at the
