The regular meeting of the Honorable Board of County Commi ssioners \~as called
to order wi th Chairman George Huntingford and Lyall Arey present. I'lr. Kelly is attending
a 2 day meeting in Olympia.
February bills were approved as follows:

Lloyd Brumbaugh from Farm Loan Agency (FHA) met with the Commissioners and
Engineer regarding 702 Funds and County Comprehensive planning on water and sewer.
He suggested that Fire Districts, Port District, Public Utility District all be included
with Co~nty on planning. First step to effect action in this direction is to pass an
enabling resolution. Advised that we might consult with Clallam County and possibly
utilize the same planner. A moeting will be set up with the. Clallam County Commissioners
before further action is taken.
Mrs. Doris Coat~s appeared in behalf of Clallam-Jefferson Counties Community hction
Council regarding Commissioners' decision on intention to designate a Community Action
Council. Huntingford and Arey requested communication with Jerry Simpson, local
director, on financial statement. y~. Arey moved that the present Community A6tion
CeUncil beooagnated as our agent, and we leave council as is. MR. Huntingford seconded
motion and it was unamimously passed.
Attorney Glenn Abraham appeared with Stanton Carter regarding the road repair
and rip rap on road in fromt of his propeety on Veter&n's Homesi.te tracts next to Dridge-
haven. V~. Becker reported on County progress to date.
Goeduck Tavern proprietor, A. C. Dalgleish of Brinnon appeared to request the
hour on license be extending from 1 a.m. to 2 a.m. in regard to his Dance License.
Mr. Arey moved that the hour be extended. It was unanimously passed.
Resolution No. 8-68 was passed as follows:
RESOLUTION NO. 8-68
\~iEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of County Commissioners a showing
sufficient to urge the repeal of RCW 84.64.250 the same being a provision of the law
having to do with the assignment of Certificates of Delinquency, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED and the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County does
hereby recommend to the \'lashington Association of County Commissioners that it include in
its agenda of pr:oposed legislation to be submitted to the 1969 session of the ','lashington
State Legislature a recommendation seeking such repeal, and
BE IT FUR'l'HER RESOLVED that a copy hereof be forwarded to the Execut1Ye Secretary
of the Washington State Association of County Commissio ners for appropriate reference.
