The 'Ileetinc \1aS called to order by Chairman George Huntingford with all Commissioners
present.
. Letter Wl:I.S read from the Jefferson County PJ.pnninG Commission requesting the County
I,Commissioners to write the Director of Washingt.on State Parks requesting their 'pursuit
!of acquiring pl'operty on the Toandos Peninsula for State Park purposes. This was
rElject~ by the corrunissioners due to the fact that the State has acquired three State
IParks in Eastern Jefferson County this year and they felt it was wiser for the future
,economy of Jefferson County to be able to leave the property on the tax rolls through
i,pri vate o'wnership. Approximately '78,& of the County is now owned by the ;~c.tioncJ.l Park,
:'jJatiollal Forest or State Parks.

'Leona L. Brown, David M. Horne, Chester I Northup, Mildred Northup, Aubrey F. Taylor,
H. E. Littrell, Lucille M. Brown and Stillman V. Brown filed herein , and also upon
the Rssolution of Intent to Vacate No. 13-68 by said Board, for the vacation and
Labandonment of one certain portion of the county road system, to-wi t:
