Club, appeared to present the Commissioners with a letter requesting the use of Memorial,:
Field for the event. After due consideration, the motion was made by Commissioner Arey,i
seconded by Commissioner Kelly that Rotary and Kiwanis be allowed to use the field for '!
the event.'
Head.ne for Brinnon Fire District formation. Motion made by Commissioner Kelly, ;'
seconded by Commissioner Arey to approve the formation of the Brinnon Fire District and

Mr. and V~s. Carter from Trails End '~ct appeared regarding the repairs on the
road in from of their property located in the southpoint area.
Tom Purks appeared regarding color for the courthouse trim. After further
review i. t was decided the,lindows and trim would remain the original color. The
Commi:>sioners chose sandstone grey as the color that mBtched the original. Mr. ::
beCKer reported on overseeing the courthouse repair. He pointed out 'to the Commission~rs
that Parks is charging from 400-500 dollars for override p'er week - administrative over- 'I
r.ide. deCKer will discuss this with Parks. '

Commissioner Kelly volunteered to serve on the Community Action Council Board
as the County representative. They will be so advised.
Key Timper Company easement for road useage by the county was approved as
follows: (oy motion of Commissioner Arey and Second of Commissioner Kelly)

Jefferson County, Washington, as shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A", on the::
following terms and conditions: i!
1. 1he ~erm of this permit shall commence this date and shall extend
until the completion of you~ operations described in paragraph 2, but, in any event,
shall expire on August 31, 1968; provided, however, that Key shall have the right to
terminate this permit at any time without notice in the event of your breach of any
of the terms of condi t,ions hereof. '
2. 'You shall use the roads for the sole purpose of transporting rip rap
rock from a pit on state owned land in the Sl/2 NEl/2, Section 2, Township 25 North,
Range l2 West, W. M., Jefferson County, Washington, and for purposes reasonably incid-
ental thereto, but for no other purpose.
3. Your ri~1t to use said roads iB non-exclusive. Key shall have the
prior right to authorize others to do the same. Your use of such roads' shall be such
as not to interfere unreasonably with use thereof by Key and shall~in accordance with
regulations established from time to time by Key.
4. You shall pay Key 'l'imber Company tHelve and one-half cents (l2-1/2v!l I
per cubic yard for all rock hauled over all or any portion of Key's truck road system
shown in red on Exhibit IIAIt. Payment to Key shall be made at Key 'Umber Company,
l~.lO Yeon Building, Portland, Oregon, by the tenth day of each month for all rock hauled
by you during the precedin~ calendar month.
5. On behalf of {tse'lf, its emp'loyees, agents and contractors the
