Mail to all househo1do will be the basic means ot distrabuting the SIR packet. Occupant mailing at bulk mailing rates will be utilized. 2. The BIR packet will be avai1~ble at counters of local utilities and post offices. This is designed mainly to reach new residents of the community as well as post office box holders and semi-transient residents. . o 3. Publicity releases will be carried by Port Townsend Leader. 4. A copy of the Step II EIR packet mock-up is enclosed. C. Summary of shelter Deficit Corrective Actions. 1. continuing coordination between the county civil defense director and the county ext~nsiQn agent will ba ezf~cted to encouragq rur~l fa1laout shelter construction~ 2. presntation of slant techniques and availability of architect and engineering design servic.e through W&shington State Department of Civil Defense will be carried on by the County Civil De~anse Director.. The WaShington State Departm~ of Civil Deferse, utilizing news items in the.Dai1y Journal of Commerce, (a Paci~ic Northwest building andeconoNic activity daily nowspaper), will inform the county d~rectors of major projected building projects in his ~ounty. Implementation of DMSDS will tend to phase out this program'. 3.
