City and the County .p1it tho cost ot updating the 1aat city map. Suggested now is
time to coneider updating map with all current chang.., including both harbors. stated

reimburab1e account. Mr. Daly, prosecuting Attorney, felt thi. was a personal respone-
ibility ot tho Auditor and not a county responsibility. After further review, Mr. Daly
said it should be paid out ot Gen~ral Administration.

Meeting wae called to order by Chairman George Huntingford with all members
present.
Messrs. Bill Lawn and Ralph Johnson appeared regarding Indian Island...... The
beach rights and the Navy closing the beach to public use. Also appearing tram Nordland
was Messrs. Roy Nordby, EmiLl G:l.edt, and J. E. Richey. Mr. Richey reported their corre-:,
spondence and the Navy's repliac. Nordland Community Club then wrot~ Capt. IS.hinger's
reply was in reterence to Oovernm~nt liability it the beach is open to the public. No
government ~unds for ro~d upkeep, impzovement, etc. Their appearanca is in reference
, to the letter received by the CQunty from the Navy.

James Sotie, County Assessor, c~me before the Board to report on pope & Talbot
Port Ludlow development in regard to county evaluation. He estimated $600,000.00
valuation on plated lots alone without any consideration tor the buildings.

Mr. Joe Peak, Sr., masonry subcontractor, reported to the commissioners that he
would be finished with his portion ot the courthouse emergency repair in about 3-4 days.
Mr. Becker presented a preliminary road program (6 yeAr projection) for review.
Commissioners SU99elsted improvements on the .following roade be added: Dabob Road,
Brinnon Road to Scboo1, and the Roed abovu Lake L,,-land.
