RESOLUTION NO. 32 - 68
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson
County has been informally advised of the passage of KJR 13 and
the consequent Constitutional Amendment providing for salary in-
creases for cert~in county officers which will become effective
December 1, 1968, but in no case later than December 1, 1968,
but iq no case later than. December 5, 1968, and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency now exists requir-
ing the expenditure of funds during calandar 1968 to provide for

such salary increases, the obligation of the Current Expense Fund

Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, and the County Auditor be,
and she. is hereby authorized and empowered to draw emergency
warrants upon the Current Expense Fund of this county, chargeable
to each of the respective county offices involved, in amounts not
exceeding the totel represented in the foregoing PROVIDED, HO~~VER,
THAT SHOULD THE SFFECTIVE DATE OF SAID CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT BE
LATER THAN DECEMBER 1, 1968, the amounts herein appropriated shall
bo duly proportioned dO\inward and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there be, and hereby is
appropriated for expendi turas during the calendar 1969 so as
to provide for. the emergency thus created, further and ad~tt10nal
monies and funds as follo\'IEl:
