Meeting called to order by Chairman George. Huntingford with all members present
including new commissioner elect A. M. 'Bud" O'Meara.
GenerHanson and Don Churchill appeared requesting vacation o~ a 30 foot strip
o~property (undeveloped road) between their properties in Oak Bay Tract. They did
not feel that this was the bes~ place for a road ab4 would relocate an access if
desired. No commissioner action was taken at this time.
Gas bids for the year 1969 were opened with tho following resdits:

Texaco, Inc.
Mobil Oil corporation
Bids were given to the engineer to check the unit prices and the accuracy.
After checking out each bid, Engineer Becker reported the bids were all in order and
Texaco, Inc. is the low bidder. It was moved by commissioner Kelly, seconded by
commissioner Arey that the low gas bid of Texaco, Inc. be accepted ~or the year 1969.
Engineer Becker will so advise.

RESOLUTION NO. 37-68
ThS matter coming on to be heard this day upon the County Road Engineer's
report with respect to the vacation and abandonment of those portions of county roads
set forth in Resolution No. 30-68 adopted the 21st day of october, 1968, and it
appearing to the Board of County Commissioners that noticd of hearing upon said
Engineer's report has been posted and published for the time and in the manner provided
by law, proof of such posting and publieation being now on file herein, and'said Board
having proceeded to consider the report of the Engineer, together with the other
evidence adduced, and being fully advised in the premises, does now find and determine
(1) That those portions hereinafter described are not useful as parts
of the county road system;
(2) That the public will be benefited by the vacation thereof,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED that
That portion of the oak Bay Road, County Road No. 10,
more particularly described as follows: beginning at
a point on the west boundary of Area No. 2 of the plat
of Port ~low No. 1 thence; southeasterly to the old
townsite of porS Ludlow thence; southwestarly to a
point lying S 7 17' 19" E a distance of 55.57 feet from
the southwest corner of Lot 23, Area 5, of the plat of
Port Ludlow No.1.
be and the same are hereby vacated and abandoned.
