There was a letter from the Port Angeles Bvening News, inviting the Baard Members
to observe their operation in their new quarters, March 26th, at 7:30 P. M.
There being no more business, tho meeting was adjourned.

Thp. meeting was called to order by Chairman Kelly, with all members PlBsent.
joe sailey appeared regarding his gi~t of projectals to be placed at tbe
entrance to Memorial Field.
Bngineer Becker asked it the following equipment could be sold by se~led bids.
1954 International dump
,80'1938 Issacson Trailer
1951 Cheverolet .
They were authorized by commissioners to be for sale previously. O'Meara moved
and Huntingford seconded in favor of sealed bid sale.
Resolution No. 8-69 was presented for consideration by sill Daly. Reso1utiCD regarded
Asp11alt litigation. Commissioners def~ered action after discussion with Engineer
Secker. until they can clarify a few points with Prosecutor Daly.
Bill Stratton appeared in behalf of himself and East Quilcene Telephore company
requesting the platted road be opened and the existing private road which 1be County
had blockaded behind the East Quilcene Telephone co. be cleared o:f blockage. Requested
the road. be officially closed to public use. The commissione~s will review with the
Engineer.
George Huntingford moved that the Clerk write & advise Post Office Deplr.tm~nt ,
that there are no objections to the new (proposed) Post Of~ice, building at Chimacum.
There will be no conflict with local, state or Federal planned projects to the
Imowladge of the county, or with Olympic Health Department requirements for water &
sanitary systums and state alectrical requirements. Clerk to send county buLlding
permit requirements. .
Watson ~. Vaughn of pioneer Masonry Restoration Company appeared regarding
compiling an Il!stimate for the courthous~ repair. The company was contacted by Kelly.

Mr. Becker is waiting for a release from the Quilcene community Club b&fore
the lights of aaid Club may be included intp the County system.

Mr. Daly appeared regarding the outcome to Bga~ (suit) versus Williams, Surveyor,
Jot~~rGon,County and Je~ferson County Abstract, in which tho County was absolved at

owne~s ot tho lote in Marshall Add'n., and the rema nder of Williams Add'n. for.

purchase or oondemnation. Ho suggests that thi8 matter be retorred to the Coun~
