MR. Gregory of the Historical society appeared with a letter requ.esting consider-
&tion of the VFW Hall for the County Museum.
Assessor James Sofie reported to commissioners on his meeting with the timber
people. The timber assessment for the est end would be put on an average at 4.50 per
acre which would add about 27~ per acre. The assessor will set aside approximately
$1200.oQ in his budget to hire a forester to help with the timber cruise in the
East end. The cruise will be taken *ownship by township.
Jerry Getz, Jefferson County Fair Board Member, appeared to th~nk commissioners
for use of, county equipment last week-end and expressed desire to. use a bulldozer.
Bdnis Dunbar reported to the board on legislative move on School Intermediate
District.

Bob Hays reported on phase 1, Comprehensive plan, of the Planning Commission.
Claia for damages from the Seattle University, Inc. was read. Claim previously
filed with insurance company for the county road department.
County's share of timber sales under app. No. 31960 $223.20
News release from tho State Attorney General's office regarding "bingo" or
multiple..coin pinball ~chines was brought to the, attention of the commissionors
by thg prosecutor.
