Bill S,ratton appeared before the Board. He said he went to Ca1 MCCune and it
~ill cost him $150.00 ~o hire McCune as attorney on road vacation. He asked tbe Commis-
sioners if he could petition his own vacation without legal council.

The following resolution was adopted by the Jefferson County Co~~issioners at
Port Townsend, Washington on the 19th ~y of May, 1969.
Whereas, in compliance with The Laws of 1969, relative to H.B. 419 and the formation
of multi-county units called Intermediate Schoold Districts.; and Whereas the Jefferson
County Commissioners are by those laws to proportionately sh.~e the cost of such
Intermediate DistrictsJ and
Whereas, we believe our area will be best served by your State Boards Alter~~te plan
for the formation of Intermedi~te Districts;
Now, Therefore, be it resolved that the Jefferson County Commissioners go on record
as favoring the formation of a three county Intermediate Districts composed of
Jefferson, Kitsap and C1allam Counties.
