for the annex facilities at Clearwater site west of Forks, Wa.
RESOLUTION 20-69

pursuant to Proclamation of the Prosident of the United States wherein he requests
that all citizens join in and participate with each other in recognition of the efforts
a! our astronauts in the progress of Apollo II, the greatest epoch in the world
hiatory o~ science, therfore,
BS IT REIOLVBD that all public business, except those necessary functions. be
suspended on Monday the 21st day of July, 1969, and in furtherance hereof the elected
and appointive officers of JoftersonCounty may close their respective offices and
that highway and !!l!d.ntenance may be dispansed within the county.
PROVIDBD l<<>WBVBR, that this resolution shall not affect the calendarea business
to be considered by this Boa~d, or any other business that may be properly presented
at the statutory stated meeting of July 21, 1969.
ADOPTED this 18th day of July, 1969.

The regular meeting of the CountyCowmissioners was called to order by Chairman
Kelly with all members present.

The hearing on the Little Quil Estates was held with owner Tom McClanahan present
and Elmer Dunn, of Roats Engineering. Mr. Becker pointed out that State Health Dept.
turned down platting on the north side of the river until a sewer system is worked
out to their satisfaction, it could also have inference with new proposed flood con-
trol district. Huntingford moved and O'Meara seconded to approve plat sugject to
flood control and Health Dept. approval. (health dept. approval for south side of
rive:: only).

A RESOLUTION of the Board of County Commissioners of
Jefferson county, Washington, providing for the is-
suance and sale of limited tax leVy general obli-
gation bonds of the County in the principal amount
, 0;( $150.000.00 :for the purpose of providing pa,rt of
the funds required to construct and :I..nstall nec-
essary capital improv.ements to the exisUng County
courthouse and to construct and equip a new County
'building; providing the date, :form, te:tll1s and ma-
turities of said bonda; creating a Construction
Fund; creating a Bond Redemption Fund; allld pro-
vi,ding for the annual loby of taxes to pay the princi-
pal of and interest on said bonds.
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary nnd advisable that Jefferson County~
!!J"oh:Lngton (he:r.einaftar called the "County"), construct and i~stal1 necessary
capital improvements to~e existing county Courthouse in Port Townsend and con-
struct and equip a new County buildingJ and

of. such capital improvomentB it is also deemed neceB3ary and advisable that the
county issuo and 8Ql1 its limited tax levy general obligation bonds in the prin-
