A RESOLUTION of the Board of County Commissioners
of Jefforson County, Wnnhin~ton, providing for
tho lanuanco n~d salo of limited tax levy general
oblJRation bonds of the County in the principal
amount of $150,000 for the purpose of prOViding
part of tho funds roquired to construct and install
necQjuary capitnl improvements to the existing
County Courthouse and to construct and eqUip ~
new County building; prOViding the date, form,
t.ermn nnd maturitlea of saiQ bonds; creatln~ a
Construction Fund; creating a Bond Redempti6n Fund"
and prDvidin~ for tho annual levy of taxes to pay ,
the principal of and lnteroot on said bonds.
WIIEIlEAS. it ia deemed necessary and advisable that Jefferson
County, WaShington (hereinafter called the "County"), construct and
install necessary capital improvementn to the existing County Court-
house in Port Townsend and construct and equip a new County building;
and
WHEREAS, in order to provide part of the funds necessary to
pay the cost of such capital improvemonto it is also dsemed necessary
and advisable that the County inoue and noll its limited tax levy
general obHgatlon bondo in tho principal amount of $150,000;

Section 1.
It is hereby found and declared that the public
safety, welfare and convonience require the Count, to make necesGury
capital improvements ~o ~he eXistlnB County Courthouse In Port Townsend,
including but not bc1n~ limited to new downspouts, Kuttern, roofing and
brick work, to acquire nnd install an elevator to run from the basemont
to the third floor thereof, and to construct and oquip n new County
bu1ldin~ 1n the weut portion or the County to provIde polleo nnd other
Rovcrnmentnl uorvicou for the citizens in that area.
