Bill Almas!, Don ChUrchill, Jesse Allen, and Brwin'Johnson appeared regarding platting regulations, road work and requirements, meeting county grades, etc.. Road work and reqquirement, etc. were mainly Mr. Almasi's concern. Questions as to disposal of remainder of unrecorded plats were asked and advised by the Commissioners how to dispose of in 4 pieces or less. . RESOLUTION NO. .. I 27-69 WHEREAS the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners are in favor of the programs and activities continuing under the Clallam-J0fferson Counties Community Action Council and are aware of the education programs and seminar scheduled in both Clallam and Jef- ferson Counties on August 20th and 21st, NOW, THEREFORE be it declared that the Board o~ Jefferson County Commissioners do hereby declare the week of A~gust 17th through 23dd, 1969, to be known as COMMUNITY ACTION WEEK. Bob Hays appeared in regard to the planning commission with Jes~Allen requesting that they be included for advisory on platting ordinance, subdivisions, etc. Mr. Kelly thinks they should be included in this advosory capacity. Mr. Hays advised that the recreational phase of the ~ompzehensive plan has been approved, cQrrected and sent into Poole for printing. County Engineer Becker, said until the mext time the ordinance is revised he shall follow proCedure of advising .planning commission by sending them a copy for their review of proposed changes and ~ubdivsions. Dick Bradley, Juvenile officer, explained the law passed in 1969, HB 408, entitled "Juvenile Court Probation Services" and requested that Jefferson County take part in Sharing a full time new juvenile dfficer on a SO/50 basis for salary (.Jefferson County sh~re $100'.00). Expen~e shown as budget expense, income shown as receipt under own name catagory. This will be a reimburseable expense. Huntingford moved and O'Meara seconded motion to adopt Resolution 24-69. I RESOLUTION 24-69 RESOLUTION FOR JUVENILE COURT PROBATION SERVICES The Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, State of Washington, beleiv~ there is a n22d for a special supportive program in the Juvenile Probation Depa,rtment in the administration of probation services ~or the delinquest and incorrigible juvenile in Jefferson County and that funds for such a progrAm have been provided by Chapter 165 of tha Extraordinary Ses~ion of 1969 of the State Legisl^ture in House Bill No. 408 entitled "Juve1ile Court Probation Services;" . BE IT .THEREFORE RESOLVED that pursuant to administrative Order No. 7 of the Depart- ment of Institutions, this BOArd intends to establish a Special Supervision Program in this County; make application for ~unds available under the Probation Subsidy Bill with the approval of Joseph H. JOhnston, Judge of the Superiox Court; des.ignatos R. L. Bradley, Chief Probation Officer, Jefferson County, Waohington, to coordinate planning, certi- fication, and the making and submission of claims for r.eimbursement. from the Department of Institutions. Mr. Daly appeared requesting Commissionor action to allow him to take civil action re~arding circumvention o~ the law portaining to the control of plats, subdivisions and dedications. Motion made by O'Meara and soconded by Huntingford to order Mr. Daly to I proceed with civil action to collect penalty. Motion approved. ' ,
