O'Meara moved and HUntingford seconded motion to accept National Bank of Commerce bid on County Bonds after Mr. John Mccarthy of Marshall and Meyer reported they checked out as presented. He advised there is $30.00 difference in the total interest. BeckGr reported on the bridge construction bid. Checking with error correction on J. R. Dutton, Inc. . Huntingford moved. and O'Meara seconded motion to accept bid of V. R. Wilson, Generftt Contractor, PA for McArdle Street bridge for $27,420.00. ' Bngineer reported on bid from Concrete Technology Corp. for $8,255.50 for 5 pre- .~essed concrete girdgrs (only bid received). Motion made by HUngtingtord and seconded by O'Meara to accept bid. Motion carried. Margaret Bishop appeared in behalf of the County Fair Board to request the county , Engineers survey the fair grounds (county prope~. The Fair Board believes the surrounding owners have been encroaching on the grounds through the years. Commissioners felt this could be done when current county ro~d project is finished. Engineer Becker reported all is in order with Seamount Estates Division No.1, Hial Turnley of Reid Realty appeared representing the owners. O'Meara moved and Hunting- ford seconded the motion to approve 'seamount Estates with Bond for road compl~tion. The plat was so approved and signed by the engineer, chairman of board of commissioners and attested to by the auditor whicb signifies approval for recording plat in the audi tor's office. " I I -. . O'Mear~ moved that Soldiers and saIlors Relief fund voucher be approved for $250.00 for Dale Ravert as requested by the American Legion, Port Townsend Post No. 26, the motiQn was seconded by HUntingford. : . Engineer recommended that Pacific Waterproofing and Restoration Inc. bid be accepted as is correct and in order. O'Meara moved and in absence of Huntingford, Motion was seconded by Chairman Kelly to wward bid for the Courthouse repair to Pacific Waterproofing and Restoration, Inc. for $43,l27.l~ Letter was read from Mr. and Mrs. William R. VUill thanking the commissioners fo..: prompt action taken on their request: to clear the pr'operty next to their lot. , Notice ~o. 69-15 from the Department of Transportation of the United States Coast Guard.
