tired of picking up garbage and litter, having his fruit and flowers picked, havin 9
his hay fields trampled down. They haven't complained becau8edthe commissioners
planned to destroy it. Now they are complainedg because the public is petitioning to
retain the bridge. There is a state facility at the other end of the lake with toilet
and overnight accomodations. Mrs. Munn said they are making an appeal for consideration
from the public and the commissioners. They are not objecting to fishermen, but to
the public use and desecration of their private lands by the public. Mrs. Marjjorie
Venning said most of thir shrubbery has been dug up, their fruit is stolen, they, (the
public) are parking and using their property without permission. No.public bathrooms
make the area an outdoor ~ath;rom and unsafe for their own children and grandchildren.
All plea and appeal to plblic and commissioners to consider their rights. Mr. Bergstrom
said he didn't realize there was a problem. he recommended that the commissioners write
the Game Department. The Qeme Department recommend a fiShing beidge or dock be built
on the public end of the lake for use of the fiShermen. Huntingford thanked Mr. Munn
for th8ir fine presentation. Bergstrom felt with immediate action by commissioners
a bridge could be built as a state facilily. Engineer Becker said plans are to close
the bridge as soon as the road is open (new road). This has been a plan since 1962.
This road will also eerve timber harvesters. Mr. Becker recommends the bridge be closed
and removed. Mr. Kelly said he would recommend the other Slide .of the bridge be cpen to
fishermen this year. The other end closed and planks removed. Mrs. Ernie Lashua
objected as she could still go down the public road to the bridge site. picnic in the
road. bring 20 children to run about and litter and throw beer cans.
Ed Miller & Warren Russell appeared regarding Black point Road. Eng. Beckers report
was read. Future action will have to co~e from the commissioners.
Huntingford moved and O'Meara seconded motion that this road be declared a county
usage road.
Developers of Pleasant Tides subdivision reported perk tests have been made and
well site under development.

for Pleasant Tides. october 6 set for preliminary hearing.

Mrs. Louise Brandt of' paradise View and Paradise Bay appeared in behalf of the
community to ask the county's assistance in a problem that is increasing in their aroa.
People are using their private ramp and property. The commissioners and Becker advised
since their beach is private, ramp is private, they may post and fence beach to low
tideline, Also they could (the County) help on tree removal.
Mrs. Norma Click and Mr. Thompson appeared requesting vacation of rD~d going
through Click property that is not in use. The Co Engineer will check as to whether
road has been vacated or not.

Goo. Simpokes appeared regarding County clean up of ditches in Matts Matts eraa.
He said the roek quary is a danger at the end ot the road, dead end sign is removod,
there is a 300' drop-off at the end of the rad. The engineer said weeds growing
down from the far side of ditches is a problem. Mr. Simpokos said tho work on the road
was promised 2 years ago. Mr. Kelly said the commissioner will checlt with Mr. Ba~kor,
(Mr. Huntingford). Mr. Simpokes a190 said the neighbors have been plagued with
Canadian Thistles.
