Six 'oWners' are all that are involved with exceptiorlof Qunstone. Mr..Becker said the county could institute. Mr. Daly should write up a resol- ution, notice and order for posting and necessary steps. I I John Nelson, Port of Port Townsend, appeared in regard to rip rap for Quilcene boat haven. Last winter there was about 20 feet of beach lost and they have approx. 300 ' to protect. Mr. Nelson asked if the county could be hired to transport rock. Mr. Kelly felt that it would be done quicker with private hire. Mr. Tom McClanahan and Jerry Runyan appeared in regard to Little Quil Estates. They requested approval of plat with bonding for north side compliance. Engineer Becker asked who will take care of buffer strip between river and property. Mr. MCClanahan said he would put in the buffer strip but maintenance is another matter. Mr. McClanahan said it appears rollod control would have something to say as they and fisheries claim the water. The river does ~ander (tendancy has been to meader to the north). Engineer Becker requires buffer strip must be shown on the plat map. lSO ' of dredging required~ for south side approval. Tom McClanahan asked if bonding could be approved for dredging. Mr. Becker agreed for bonding on road, water pipe distribution and dredging. Cost estimates must be furnished to the Engineer prior to bonding, water system distribution must be sent directly to the state for approval. . Mrs. Bernard of Cape George Village, Division 7, appeared requesting a minimum of one- half acre on aDiv. 7 road development. The county minimum is 9,000 sq. it, but it is up to the developer with restrictive covenants. I Statutory hearing was held on Pleasant Tides. The Health Dept. suggests swamp area be withheld from lot development. Mr. Dick Arnold and A. L. ?assenger (representing hall Z Sptrgue) appeared objecting to the'access road beinggmoved. It was suggested that a local meeting of the property owners be held and the road access be worked out~ County Engineer would be happy to attend. Also pppearing was Mr. Edward Brower. Warren Russell and Wesley Russell pppeared with Mr. Runyan. Hearing was'discontinued until a later date. Mrs. Birdie Bailey appeared regarding Housing Authority. The Federal people appeared at their meeting and advised that no federal funds would be available until the county adopted'a minimum building code. They have taken the perogative to join a regional housing authority with King and pierce counties. Motion made by Hunt~ngford and seconded by O''Meara to give the commission a copy of the minutes of the county commissioners including the Housing Authority appointee's and length of appointments. .. permission was given to the Port of Port Townsend to move their office into the vacated Superintendent of Schools office.
