In regard to Holland (Dutch) Barrett's request for road paca~ion, Prosecutor Daly reco end-
ed the Retition be returned to Barrett recommending referral to private attorney for pr per'

Mr. Huntingford moved and after discussion O'Meara seconded ~otion to renew at higher r~te of
coverage the Boiler Machinery pOlicy M-53563.
Jim Bercu and Dave Strauson, Western Elevator representatives, appeared regarding elevator
installation. $lO,500 plus shaft work by other contractor with $1,000 variables. Total
estimate $S,ooo.OO eleBator, 10,Soo installation of elevator, lO,Ooo shaft and pitt work
or overhead machine room. Dicision wa, colored with donfusion on jthe comparative hydraulic
installation. Prosecutor and commissioners debatad for various installation. Huntingford
moved and O'Meara seconded motion to go out to bid as soon as the engineer has tha
specifications complete. Wednesday, October lSth, at 9:3 R.M. at Western Elevators
Tacoma office to Iinalize equipment arrangement with Murphy.
Olympic canal Maintenance Co. letter was read,and discussed. It was recommended by the
Board that they be requested to contact the game department on request.

Call for bids Friday, November 7, 1969. lOO:OO a.m.. to furnish four (4) prestressed
concrete girders inCluding all diaphram fittings and end posts delivered to the Hurst
Creek Bridge site at Clearwater in accordance with plans and specification for County
Road Project No. 315 and other contract documents now on file with the C~unty Engineer.
Call for bids, Friday, November 1, 1969, 10:00 a.m., for construction of a prestressed
concrete bridge across Hurst Creek tributary to the Clearwater River. Contractor will
pour the concrete footings, place preeast columns, caps and girder8 and construct the
guard rail and such other work as set forth in the plans and specifications.
Notice from the Washington State Liquor control Board amending the license issued to
Holland ~~ed Barrett, d/b/a Discovery Bay Lodge, to show continued operations from
October I, 1969 to December 31. 1969, inclusive.
