Copy of. letter from the County Engineer to Pope and Talbot Development, Inc.,
informing them of the countie's complaint of Pope and Talbot's Development work in
the Port Ludlow vincinity.
Public Hearing notice for Monday, November 3, 1969, ll:OO a.m. in regard to vacating
a portion of the Junction city Plat, Blocks 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, Lo~s yhrough 5, Block lO,
Lots 1 thxough 6, Block l5, Block l6, Lot lO, Block l7 and all streets and alleys
within this discribed area.
Petition to open county road, the Westerly thirty (30) feet of that portion of
Kennedy S'treetin the Supplemental Plat of the Town of Port HadloCk, which lies be-
tween Curtis street and the County Road from Chimacum. The petition was returned to
for details to be worked out with the engineer.
Meeting adjourned.

Resolution 35-69 read and approved as follows by motion of Hun~ingford and seconded
by O'Meara.
RESOLUTION No. 35-69
A RESOLUTION making appropiate findings and providing for the creation of a "Housing
Authority" as contemplated under R.C.W. 35-82, and appointing commissioners.
~rlEREAS. the undersigned members of the Board of County Commissioners for Jeffer-
son county, state of Washington, having investigated and given consideration to the
gactors herein involved, do hereby find and dete~mine that there is a shortage of safe
or sanitary dwelling accommodations in said county available to persons of low income
at rentals they can afford, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and said Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson county, state
of Washington, does hereby declare that there is need for a Housing Authority in Jeffer,..
son county, state of wasgington, as contemplated by statute, and that in pursuance
thereof, there be and is hereby created in said county, a public body corporate and
and politic to be known as the "HOUSING AUTHORITY OF .JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASHINGTON", and
That there be and are hereby appointed as commissioners of the "HOUSING AU1HORITY
OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASHINGTON" the following named with term of office from date
her.eof as designated and set oppisite their respective names, viz:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said bertie Bailey be and she is hereby appointed
as first chairman of said Authority to serve in such capacity until the expiration
of her term of office and she is hereby authorized and empowered to forthwith convene
the commissioners so appointed and proceQd to organize the Authority in manner and
form as provided by law.
ADOPTED this lOth day of October, 1969.
