JEFFERSON, WASHINGTON:
That tho Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson) Washington
horeby determines, finds and declares, in pursuanco of the Housing Authorities Law, as
nmonded, that:
1. Insanitary and unsafe inhabited dwelling accomcdations exist in the
County of Jefferson, Washington; and
2. There is a shortage of safe and sanitary dwelling accomodations in the
County of Jefferson, Washington, available to persons of low income at rentals they can
afford; and
3. There is need for a housing authority to function in the County of Jeff-
erson, Washington, and
County" .
4. The name of said authority shall be "Housing Authority Of Jefferson
ADOPTED niIS 9th day of January, 197~

Resolution Appointing the Commissioners
of the Housing Authority of Jefferson

WHEREAS, Resolution No. l-70 declaring the need for a housing authority in the
County of Jefferson, WaShington, was heretofore passed and adopted by this Board, and
M1EREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 5 of the Housing Authorit~es
Law, as amended, this Board is authorized to appoint five persons as commissioners of the
Authority created for the County of Jefferson, WaShington.
BE IT RESOLVED BY !HE BOARD OF COUNTY Ca.IMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFEI~SON,'
WASHINGTON:
l. That the following persons bo and the same are tibreby appointed as commiss-
ionors of the Housing Authority of Jefferson County to servo from October, 1969, for the
number of years appearing after their names, respectively:
Robert Matheson
Gordon T. Hunt
Ruth ShOrt
James Michael Morris
Bertie Bdley
2. That Bortie Bailey io hereby designated ao tho firAt chairman of the
